This project was part of the IDEC student competition of 2020, I collaborated with two other design students, Kaycee Sexaur and Lyzette Galvez. We were tasked with designing a homeless day center, that provided a place for individuals to have access to bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and grooming stations for their pets. This project was to be completed in 3 weeks and a panel of judges chose the top 3 projects from the class to submit to the IDEC student competition. We were selected as one of the top 3 projects and submitted our project to the IDEC student competition. Although we did not end up winning, it was great to get the recognition for our hard work.
