This project we had to create a living space for a Dementia care Facility. Both of my grandmothers have dementia so this project was very meaningful to me. I wanted to create two living rooms, one calm and one more colorful and engaging.  I created a big focal piece in the center which is the two way fireplace. I thought this would make the residents feel more at home. The Living room with the mountain mural is meant to be more calming with the hues of blue and green throughout. The second living room has a green couch and a more colorful palette that is meant to allow the residents to engage with one another more.
